Help Ban factory Farming

A few weeks ago, Victorian Greens Party introduced a bill that will ban factory farming. If the bill is approved, battery cages, sow stalls and de-beaking will be banned and there will be a legal definition to free range eggs.

Animals in factory farms suffer greatly. Battery hens, confined to a space the size of an A4 piece of paper, unable to move around, for their entire lives. And mother pigs, trapped in crates the size of her body, forced to produce litter after litter of piglets, until she, herself is slaughtered into ‘cheap meat’. If we can persuade the Victorian Government to approve the bill. Together, we can make it possible.

Thanks Leo! Yeah I just got your email and signed it. Must have done that "post" same time as you. Surprised there hasn't been more animal-org media about this --- ?? has there: I hadn't seen much, just yours and the Voiceless one.
