My rescued lori was hot! I put ice cubes in his water and a pool for him to swim in, but he wasn't interested sad Obviously, he was hot and panting so I patted him w water, but....  I need a spray bottle!!!
Awww.
Scruff (whos a rat) was doing the funniest things today. I put out a container of water (not too deep wink ) on the floor for her and Haydo and Scruff was splashing around in it.
She also came over to Beaver (a guinea pig) and saw that he was eating grass, so she tried to copy him but I don't think she liked the taste that much!

My poor baby Alex (er, baby of the feline variety) didn't cope too well in the heat. He's got long black fur so soaks up the heat like anything. Caught him sprawled out on the coolest bit of paving he could find fast asleep. Wish I had a photo.

It was 39 here aswell...damn it's hot. On days like this I usually just sit around, it's too hot to do anything. Is it just me or does it seem like days in the high 30s and low 40s are becoming more common?

I usually just go to the beach or sit on my patio and read.  There is literally NOTHING you can do when it is really really hot
