That's horrific to think about...
I guess the way i look at this.
The animals were going to die eater way and drowning seams less terrible to me then having your thought slit and kicking around on the floor.
Though it is sad they got lucky.

Either death is terrifying. Whether it's at the hands of someone with a blade or thrashing around together
The only good this brings is the economic damage and news attention.

Mmm, in all seriosness I think this is a much better outcome than a 'successfull' transportation.
The same amount of animals were killed, in possibly worse but possibly better conditions to which they would have been at 'their destination'.
But we have the bonuses of:
The livestock/transport company loses money and gets bad publicity.
More publicity for animals.
This is so sad, but what i dont understand is all week on the news ive herd about tigers woods and his women and personal crap but not this!
some people dont understand what is actually news worthy i mean they have special shows for celebrity crap im more interested in real news.
