Just had this email from a lady I know that went to the Lennon Bros circus in Gympie this weekend just passed- gave me goosebumps
Hi Lisa, hope u r well. Just thought I'd write to u, I had never been to a proper circus, only little ones with horses n trick dogs, but I went to the Lennon bros one in gympie n was really disgusted by the reaction of the so called 'tame' lions, camels, alpacas n ponies, it was very obvious tht the animals are beaten to perform, I could see it in their eyes when the so called trainers would put the whip toward them they would squint their eyes expecting to be hit, it was horrible. I enjoyed watching the people perform not the animals. Thats wat a circus should be people performing, not animals. People can speak n say they don't want to do it, animals can not. So good luck with ur protest! I kno I will never pay to see a circus with 'performing animals' ever again it was not nice.
