the music was well chosen for that reason though, despite how graphic the footage is music gives it more impact
Yeah like the music is extremly powefull, like omg like the most poweful ever! And it even works well when they play in the actual sound of like the cow screaming.

Oh well actually nothing in-particular about the film, just the whole veganism concept. She just started saying that we had different conflicting beliefs and how she was getting annoyed with the whole animal activist thing (I post a lot of links and info on my blog and twitter etc. in general). I just started saying that she, being someone who has watched Earthlings, should know where I was coming from etc. It's all good now though
This was released a while back but in case people haven't seen it here is the concept trailer for Unity (the second part in the Earthlings trilogy). It looks like it's taking a more spiritual / philosophical approach, although I remember seeing an interview with Shaun Monson where he said 1/3rd of the movie covers human treatment of (non-human) animals.
I'm quite looking forward to it, I suspect it will have a slightly more positive outlook than what Earthlings did =D
here's the interview with Shaun Monson about Unity and how we treat animals... I just watched it again and thought it worthy of posting here (particularly the second part of the interview where he puts fairly common issues around veganism in his own words)...
This is one of those Doco's that will forver stick in your mind and change the way you live, eat and think. I must admit it was hard to watch as its very graphic and they dont sugar coat anything. They show and tell it how it is. Its extreamly powerful and well done but of course not for the faint hearted. It actually took me a few days to watch as I kept stopping it when it got too much and I cried my eyes out! Well done to the people who made it as it really opened my eyes and im sure it has effected many many people around the world and hopefully got others to stop eating meat, buying animal products and taugh people how to be responsible pet owners.
