I watched Earthlings after I was already vegan, & i cried & felt sick from watching it. After seeing it, it really cemented my beliefs & I realised I would never go back! I couldnt!
All the best on your cruelty-free journey, it's definitely worthwhile
that's awesome that your parents are supportive. Earthlings is good to see the extreme of what humanity shouldn't be doing, but it's also important to be informed of the positive aspects of plant based nutrition - would be worthwhile getting them in on that as well
Also - Unity (the sequel to Earthlings) is due for release soon! it looks pretty rad from the previews
wow you watched Earthlings at 12 years old, that's pretty gutsy!
i watched this last night. i thought it was an incredible doco, but i cried pretty much the whole way through.
sometimes i just don't understand how people can have such little compassion and put themselves at a higher level of importance than non-human animals.
the fact of the matter is, we are all earthlings. therefore, we all deserve to be treated with love and compassion, and certainly not genetically modified and produced in factories for the soul purpose of greedy consumption.

you can't have seen many movies then! I actually thought it was pretty good - diff to most other recent movies anyway. Their vision of what 2019 will look like is a bit ambitious though

What is [Unity] about? I looked it up on wikipedia but.... Is it like just talking about how we are all equal?
I posted a link to FB preview of it on page 14 of this thread. Glen is this the same preview you watched? I can't find any others for it
