I would have a lot more respect for moderators and this "forum" if you would honestly state in your rules that abolitionist vegans are not welcome here. That would be at least be a truthful position. Your idea of "spamming" is any member who tries to discuss or dare posts anything about abolitionist animal rights.
As someone who has been on this forum for quite a while and identifies as an abolitionist, this is just a blatant lie.

It really does seem more that it is the style in which you post/address (or try to address) the issue which is not appreciated or accepted here. This is totally understandable.
The 'weakest position', in my view, is that which does not address situations individually. Answer individual arguments/questions... whatever.

The closed-mindedness shown by a (small) number of people who identify as abolitionists that regurgitate either soundbites or long-winded, repetitive 'essays' talking about how important it is to engage in open-minded discussion is laughable.... at least it would be if it wasn't so disapointing..
(this is not to say the link to the weotheranimals blog is such, I have a lot of time for that writing...the way it is presented by others [you...]  is more the problem.)

The 'Franciombe' term is, in my view, a grotesque one based on suppressing important information that challenges the status quo. However, when confronted by people (more there online avatars..) who behave in this manner  when trying to address the abolitionist v. welfare issue, one can see the lifelessness that could be assumed to extend to the rest of the abolitionist community.

I certainly have disagreements (both past and present) with some of the activism discussed on unleashed.... However, my criticism  ( I hope) addresses the individual circumstance and why int hat situation it is counterproductive/less productive than it could be. I try to step outside of ideologies based on suppression. In doing so, the response I have recieved has been very different to what you have....

Also, speaking of  repressive ideologies... What I find particularly amusing/bemusing/funny/f**ked up/depressing is how repressive some abolitionists are. The misleading rhetoric that is used, the exageration of fact...The almost total dichotomy that is their theory/practice. It's extra-ordinarily disheartening.

I'm not gonna lie- I didn't read the whole post.
But I think I got the jist of it.
I've noticed that people on this forum all feel that they have something relevant to say.
Which is true. Every voice deserves a chance to be heard.
But I think that a lot of the people who assert their passions tend to be quite ignorant.
That's not meant to be an insult, it simply means that one is stuck on a biased obsession and hasn't yet seen that the path they're on is still going... and they have simply stopped without realising it...

Frustrating that so much time and effort needs to be wasted on behavioural stuff like this. Call me crazy.
