I don't mind if my family members eat meat in front of me, but when they continue to comment on how tasty the poor little animal is :| they do it as a joke, but sometimes i feel like punching them for eating those little animals! haha

My family all eat meat. It doesn't bother me, and they let me cook veg for them sometimes. We don't talk about food while we eat though, it's for their own good lol.

I have family that eat meat and I don't mind, but I know what you mean ....
I've got a carnivorous cousin (really, he eats that much meat he could be) and I know he tries to be annoying by asking stupid questions, throwing insults or stupid comments about my veg*nism and it gets me fired up.
Or even how my family continually offers me dairy or something along those lines where they know I can't eat it but they ask anyway... (I mean you could say they were just trying to be nice, but after nearly 3 years, you'd think they would have gotten it by now?)
Though now days I just laugh it off, or ignore... and concentrate my efforts on something worth while, since I know a lost cause when I see one :]

Oh, I feel your pain big time. I don't mind if my family eats meat in front of  me, but I hate it when my brothers crack jokes or try to force feed me meat. My parents sometimes even force me to eat dairy! It really makes me feel low. sad

Yeah, I don't mind if they eat it in front of me, but I don't appreciate if they make comments or remarks or something about the animal or me being a vegan.

Like today my sister was eating bacon for breakfast & I wouldn't have said anything but she then says 'Oh, this bacon is so good. You don't know what you're missing out on,' or something along those lines and I'm like to her 'Do you WANT to know what happened to that pig?' And before I could say anymore she started screaming and blocking her ears so I couldn't tell her, ha.

My family are really nice about it. They know I have a point but they don't want to think about it so they don't make comments.
I have cousins and friends on the other hand who try to challenge me at every chance they get.

For example, I went to China a few weeks ago. Yes, vegansim was difficult, especially when you can barely understand any Chinese. But I managed a few dismal vegie dished each meal. They would not stop moaning about how delicious their fleshy food was. Telling me I'd waste away. Teasing me about my boring meal.

I had arguments but some people just will not listen.
