You know, it's strange. I consider myself to be just as passionate as the rest of you, but I do not get emotional around meat at all. I almost feel bad that I don't, but its not something I can help. I appreciate your sensitivity though, the world needs people like you
SAME! It's weird, since I thought I would be, but my mum ONLY AND ALWAYS WILL buy free range.
Ok well even though it hasn't been long since I said this, I have started to experience the cringe factor. I have to shut my eyes when I see meat being prepared on tv and cooking shows. For some reason I can still tolerate it when someone cooks meat in my own house, and the sight I can deal with, but I can't handle the smell.
It makes me feel so much better to be a vege. I really hope that in the future I can live in a household without any various bits of decaying flesh in the fridge and not have to smell the un-nerving scent of sizzling muscle and fat.
To be honest, I've never witnesses anyone preparing any meat (since I am usually not around) but I do feel like crying whenever anyone mentions eating lamb or veal.
I agree. Back when I was an omni, though, I didn't even think about the fact that roast lamb was a baby sheep!
