Dear Animal Activist,
This is your invitation to attend the 2010 Animal Activists Day Forum.
This year the Activists Forum will be held on Saturday & Sunday, 23rd – 24th October in Palm Beach, Queensland.
Each year, following the Animals Australia AGM, all grassroots animal activists in Australia are encouraged to attend the Activists Forum. It is the only annual opportunity activists have to network with others from interstate and learn about what other groups and individuals have been working towards in the Australian movement for animals. If you would like to meet others who are proactive in helping animals, as well as learn how you can become a more effective activist, the Activists Day is for you!
The agenda for the day will be forwarded to registered attendees closer to the date, and will consist of seminars, lectures and workshops relative to effective campaigning for animals in Australia; as well as reviews of the previous year’s actions and campaigns by the various animal advocacy groups around Australia.
Animals Australia has arranged the venue and catering, and will levy a charge to cover catering costs which are $20 per day. You are also invited to join Animals Australia’s supporters for a vegan dinner at Zullaz’s -50 James St. Burleigh Heads on the Saturday night (cost $35).
The venue will be the The Tallebudgera Recreational Centre, Gold Coast Highway, Palm Beach, Queensland. (See Map)
Accommodation is also available at the Tallebudgera Recreational Centre at a cost of $60 for 2-nights 'Bed and Breakfast'. The same fee applies for a one night stay – it's a package deal.
We welcome you to attend and to forward this invitation to your organisation’s core volunteers or any other grassroots animal activists you know.
Please note that only participants who have pre-registered their attendance will be allowed entry to the Activists Forum, so remember to RSVP beforehand!

An attendance form will be provided shortly to those who have RSVPed. Attendees for the dinner and Activists Forum must book and pay in advance.
If you would like to attend – some easy steps:
1. RSVP to with your name, phone number, and let us know who you received this invitation from.
2. Assuming that there are still available places at the event, we will then send you an attendance form
3. Fill in and return it to us to book and make payment prior to the event.
4. Bring along any merchandise, business cards or literature your organisation produces to put on display for others to learn about your campaigns.
Important:
Places are limited at this event, and as such we have to reserve The Activist’s Forum for those who have an interest in positively contributing to animal advocacy.
