ask them why a compromise cant be made. Ask why the family was denied a visit. Ask if their family pet was found to have dingo in it would they put it down.
Even 'proven' dangerous dogs are given options in some cases. Enclosed yards, increased fence heights, muzzled in public etc. You would think that some compromise could be offered. I mean, this dog has never even demonstrated dangerous behaviour. Any dog can be a risk under the right circumstance.
