Black and gold gingernuts
Arnotts Strawberry Shortcake and Lemon Crisp
Arnotts BBQ Shapes
(some of these are recent eg. shapes, some of them I haven't checked lately. )
The BBQ shapes have Wostishire sauce in them and some Wostishire sauces have anchovies in them. I am unsure however if the Wostishire sauce in BBQ shapes has anchovies. Hope it doesn't though.
I contacted shapes to ask them about this they stated that the sauce does not contain anchovies and is safe for vegans
I just read the ingredients on BOTH original and chocolate cream flavoured Oreos, and was so excited to find out that neither of them contain milk! (even though they are made on machines that may process milk, but that has nothing to do with the product itself) So yes if you like chocolate cream flavoured Oreos you can feel free to eat them too (I personally don't like chocolate cream flavour myself though. Original ftw.)
Chocolate alert - I’ve recently discovered 'Whittaker's Bittersweet Peanut Slab' 50g bars at Woolworths - they're vegan, and at 47% cocoa solids not too bitter for my taste (I prefer milder forms of dark chocolate). The bars claim they also contain a minimum of 35% roasted peanuts – and the choc/peanut combo is just my thing!
Also I recently found in the UK import section at Woolworths 'Fry's Orange Cream', 'Chocolate Cream' (actually filled with a mildly fruity-tasting fondant) and 'Peppermint Cream' 49g bars - all vegan, all top-notch quality to my taste.
(Note though that these bars have the standard legal disclaimer for allergen-sufferers, that they might contain accidental traces of "nuts, milk or cereals".)
I was happily eating the Fry's Peppermint, orange & chocolate creams for a while. However, the Cadbury's website clearly lists them as NOT vegan (you can actually do a search for their vegan products). I though this was because the glycerin was perhaps an animal source, but it also says that they're not milk free, although I can't see any milk products in the ingredients - maybe that's just for allergy requirements?
If anyone can shed light on this, that would be awesome as i would love to start eating them again! http://nutrition.cadbury.co.uk/epages/Store.storefront/?ObjectPath=/Shops/NutriApp/Products/11002632
Coles brand guacamole is vegan. It comes in two flavours: original and spicy.
The spicy guacamole goes nicely with tacos
Awesome! I usually make my own but this would come in handy when I don't have ripe avo's!!! What section can I find it in? Does Woolies sell it too?
Obviously not the same Coles brand, but I know Woolies sells vegan guacamole. When I bought it it was in tube next to the fresh veggies (weird place I would assume that was just that particular store). They also have a spicy version.
