If you buy the spot on treatments, they usually are sold by weight bracket. If he fits anywhere between the sizes then he will be fine, doesn't need to be exact.
i just called mega pet store and this is the price they gave me for revolution to treat fleas, heartworm and roundworm
p.s. he weights 5.1kg (as weighed in july at the vet)
3pk- $48.90
6pk- $90.9048
is that a good price or should i go purchase it elsewhere?
he wont stop itching its making him nuts.
I'm not familiar with Revolution,
But I used to use Sentinel on Jay which treats fleas, heartworm & all worms and it was around $100 for a 6 pack so 6 months worth, I would say if it's a simliar product that $90 is a good price if it's treating everything...
Advantage is good but I wouldn't reccomend it over Advocate or Revolution for cats.
The last two prevent everything heartworm, stomach worms, ear mites and also kills the whole flea cycle (adult, eggs, pupae, larvae). And Advocate & Revolution can be cheaper than Advantage anyway. Advantage only kills fleas.
I'd buy the 3 month pack first and see if it works, then go from there. Usually the 6 month packs are cheaper. Those prices sound normal.
Weight wise Revolution should be fine as it's from 2.6kg - 7.5g & unless your cat is obese it should fit nicely in that range

thanks for the advice i just typed that in my phone so when i go in i remember. im gonna go tomorrow and get it. wheres the cheapest place to buy it from, if you know?
All places vary so best to shop around. Either vet clinics, petshops or petbarn. And sometimes vet clinics will actually be cheaper than the others. You can also buy them online (not sure what websites) but they are usually really cheap but depends if you have a credit card.
