Hey guys - Frys Chocolate - plain, orange or mint.... amazing amazing amazing... you can find it in Woolworths, Coles or some IGA down the international isle or any Irish or British stores...  before becoming a vegan it was my fav chocolate bars and also thousands of other non-vegans (as they don't even know it's vegan)...  try it... yum yum

• Lindt: 70% dark chocolate & 85% dark chocolate. I prefer their 70%, the later has a really sour punch to it. Available at supermarkets.

• Alter Eco: I love their Dark Chocolate Almond flavour. I believe they're all vegan except the Coconut Toffee flavour. Health food stores & online.

• Pana Chocolate: Roughly $7.50 for a small block, so it's very expensive but absolutely delicious. Many people especially love Mint, and Coconut & Goiji but all of them are fantastic. Health food stores & online.

• Noosa Chocolate Factory: they're entire dark chocolate range is 100% vegan. I love them. Brisbane or online.

Sweet Williams is pretty good, but also try Koko Green, which is  fair trade.

I went to Aldi the other day and looked at their chocolate range. I'm pretty sure I've heard people mention Moser Roth chocolate but the only one I could find which didn't contain milk solids or butter fat was the 70% dark (it was delicious btw..). Was disappointed when I saw the mint and almond dark varieties had bovine mammary secretions!!

Mmmmmmm.......
I've seen Pana Chocolate in my local health store and it looks fantastic!
It's a raw, organic, handmade chocolate based in Melbourne. It's also low GI,gluten and soy free, and best of all, vegan!
Everything's natural and it has essential oils. It's preservative free and suitable for everyone.
It's also great for our planet. Their packaging is recyclable and is already recycled! It's also printed by Australian owned companies and even the ink is soy-based!
They ship all around Australia and have an amazing range of flavours including Raw Cacao, Lucuma Gold, Orange, Coconut+Goji, Cinnamon, nuts, mint and more! They now have a new flavour called Sour Cherry+ Vanilla.
Sounds like I'll be robbing the shop of them....Arr....pirate

Hi Folks,

I have some bad news about the brands of chocolate that have been posted as being Vegan.  Unless you are prepared to tolerate traces of milk because of shared manufacturing processes - the following are not 100% vegan.

Whittakers; Lindt; and Mosher.  The Kinnerton is.

The Sweet Williams is, but it is not real chocolate.....  The LEDA Brand have a range of products, yes they are Vegan, but they don't use real chocolate either which means it has no cocoa solids in it.

Green & Blacks have a vegan range they sell in the UK, but unfortunately not available in Australia...

A good tip for checking if it really is chocolate, if the first ingredient is sugar - in my experience then it is not real chocolate with a stated percentage of cocoa solids in it.

Hey,
I use Sweet William the most for recipes and fondue and were not big on blocks of dark chocolate, but i have some at the moment as i came across a chocolate mouse recipe that calls for it.
I love Moo Free mini moos honey comb, and also absolutely love Constant Cravings, apricot flavor and coconut is yummy too.

also Leda do Choculance biscuits that are like tim-tams, reeeally good, and Mintons that are like chocolate mint slices.

I recently made Mars bar slice with twilight bars.. it shall be henceforth known as Twilight slice!! which are like a Mars bar for vegans. suffice to say it didn't survive long.bye

Montezuma's is Vegan (UK - Organic) I own a little chocolate shop and we now have them in stock.

We also have Pana Chocolate which is Vegan and Fairtrade and made in Australia happy Pana is also gluten free, nut free and no added sugar - they use Agave nectar.

Also: Moo Free, Sweet William and some specialty Australian chocolates. One of our suppliers is making vegan Easter products this year.

If anyone is after Vegan chocolates - feel free to contact me as I'm always keen to find chocolates we don't have in stock to suit everyone's needs. Look up Kakao Dream (in Scone NSW). Happy to mail order too ecstatic Sorry to end up looking like an advert, but thought I would share the chocolatey love!!!
