I've tried a brand before (it was really cheap, which probably explains a fair bit), but it was horrible.

Does anyone know of a good brand?

What's your favourite brand/flavour of vegan chocolate and where do you find it?

Lindt dark chocolate is good otherwise Sweet Williams.

I'm a chocoholic so am very fussy with my chocolates. I've tried the rice milk chocolate, I forget what its called, maybe someone else will know but its quite a good substitute.

Lindt 60% dark cooking chocolate is even better!
Or there's the moser roth (sp.?) line at Aldi, there's dark chilli and dark mint that are vegan and they're both quality.

Mmm chocolate... I've been on a chockie binge all week cloud9

Go Max make the most amazing chocolate bars. They have ones that are like mars, picnic, milky way and bounty. They are soooooo goood.
Bonvita Rice Milk Chocolate is the best chocolate block. Their 'milk chocolate' and 'white chocolate' are to die for!

In the big supermarkets you can usually find:
- Whitakers Dark Chocolate (tastes more like a milk chocolate - very nice)
- Lindt Dark Chocolate (a lot stronger than Whitaker's)
- Sweet Williams (some people swear by it.. but it's not one of my faves)
- Leda make rum balls, mint slices, tim tam-esque bickies. (usually in the health food section)

If you want to do a little more searching, you can prob find some of these in health food stores, or order them online:
- Tropical Source make amazing vegan chocolates.
- Constant Cravings (amazing individually wrapped fancy chocolates)
- Cocolo (sometimes in the choc section of supermarkets - I like the mint one)

I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of right now.

=) I see Whittikers and Lindt in Coles and Woolies all the time, but I had no idea their dark chocolate was vegan.

Breadman, I've seen Sweet Williams' 'MUD' before in Woolworths, but not chocolate, where do you buy it?

Their mud is exactly like nuttella LOL.
It's always in the health food section at my local stores. They also do easter bunnies at easter time. =)
