I'm sorry but it absolutely is the whole industry. Your horses may be treated well but in the end they're just being bred for exploitation. Take a read through the stewards reports and see how many horses end up bleeding from the nostrils after races, how many jockeys get whip fines, careless riding fines, the amount of horses that get trodden on. It really is endless

Fair enough, but your saying to me about all the horses being shot and going to the slaughter house, not every stud does that? Maybe a few but most would never do that? Its not an exploitation of animals either, and my horses don't get nose bleeds or anything like that after a race. Some horses truely love to run, and you guys dont have race horses well some of you might not so do you really know much about it? Your basically going on facts that you dont know are definately true, and not all studs do any of that stuff so how about you actually think about which horses are being treated well.

Well im sorry but they aren't 'exploited'.
Some horses love to run, do you not grasp that? If the horse doesn't love to run then they stay at home and live a long life after that. Your honestly a bunch of gaylords looking at the negatives more than the positives. You act like every stud does all that to the horses? Well they don't only a few which would have horrible people, there are laws alright? We are a family of animal lovers and if horse racing really was that bad for the horses as you guys make it out to be it would probably be illegal and we would have no part of it

there are laws against horses giong the knackery ??

i know your in the industry so ur defnding it
but there are no laws to protect these horses
and its not only a "few" how do u think the statistic that 18,000 horses are bred and killed each year came about, just a blatant lie

your stud might not do this but how do u keep them all?
how do u keep them from getting injured

horse racing is cruel and dangerous

JUST BECAUSE THEY LOVE TO RUN DOESN'T MEAN THEY LIKE TO HAVE SOMEBODY RIP THEIR SKIN OPEN WITH A PIECE OF ROPE, BE FORCED TO RUN MORE THAN THEY WOULD PLEASE OR BE SLAUGHTERED AND HAVE THEIR NECKS SLIT OPEN BECAUSE THEY ACCUMALATE INJURIES FROM BEING FORCED TO RUN SO FAST! NOR WOULD THEY ENJOY THE EXPLOITATION OF BEING SURROUNDED BY HUNDREDS OF FAT ASS PEOPLE HOPING TO GET A DOLLAR OR TWO AND NOT GIVING A SHIT ABOUT THE ANIMALS.

I didn't spend hours out in 40 degree sun gaining petition signatures to ban horse racing if I didn't know it was WRONG. We like to run but do we LIKE being put in drafting pens where there is nowhere to run but forward unless we want to get ourselves killed by other stampeding horses? Do we like being "smacked" as some of you have put it to feel like?
Even then atleast Jack and I aren't resorting to petty name calling to try and put our point across. Way to really give us an "informed" opinion.

You can still be happy and be exploited. Some horses love to run, that's not an argument here.
How is it wrong to look at the negatives of horse racing, you obviously haven't?
You're basing all of your arguments on 'probablys' and defending what you and your family do. You don't need to call us a bunch of 'gaylords' because we care about animal welfare.
