What exactly is this definition of 'party'? Does it imply that you go out with your friends to a venue or a house party? That is what I thought it was but then I saw someone say 'I hope you never party' lol so I'm thinking it means something to do with alcohol and/or drugs. Please clarify

I think there is just a stigma these days that to party' is to be pissed and off ya face'

It also depends on the ages groups. Obviously many teens take advantage of partys to experiment.
I think this topic here though is for people who don't enjoy the typical going ons at partys these days.
Being 23 now, I never went out to clubs and still don't. I just don't enjoy them.
I am a complete and total hermit- I don't drink, smoke cigarettes or do hard drugs. I don't drive + only ride my bicycle everywhere- making it damn near impossible to 'pop out' to a nightclub. It goes alright with me- I hate the city I live in
Well I go to parties and go out with my friends but don't drink/take drugs.
I still have fun- I just drink cranberry juice or energy drinks (if I want to dance). And when everyone starts getting really drunk you can just dance like an idiot and no one will notice/judge

People at my school used to think I was on drugs. I would go to partys and even the adults thought I was on drugs.. I was allways offended by this.. I was just a very bubbly yet shy person who enjoyed the world around me! It's sad people just don't see natural happyness anymore

You should go to Cab Noc (if you don't go already) I've met some of the nicest people in Melbourne there. I love goth clubs, everyone is so friendly

You could always add them on facebook and see which DJs are playing and what sort of music they're into. My friend Rob (DJ ArtiEm) usually plays Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, Nick Cave, Joy Division, Rosetta Stone, and stuff like that
