I am a complete and total hermit- I don't drink, smoke cigarettes or do hard drugs. I don't drive + only ride my bicycle everywhere- making it damn near impossible to 'pop out' to a nightclub. It goes alright with me- I hate the city I live in tongue
You should come to Melbourne! ecstatic
MAAAN I fly over there all the time when my modelling agency gets me work! I was there at the start of the year + LOVED it- I want to move over SO bad!

There are too many idiots out there taking drugs and all that stuff apparently to be "cool", but somehow I don't think that they'd be proud of it when they get dementia at 30. Like, kids these days, especially at 16 yrs old like me, don't even think about what they're doing to their bodies it's so stupid!!!!  angry
And btw, I'm gonna put this broccoli here cause it's officially awesome!  broccoli
Dude, it dances! =D
The banana's better lol! dance

Crimson Vampire, I can relate to you quite a few of my friends have been really getting into partying lately (all the populars were already but now it seems like most of the grade are sometimes just to 'fit in' or be cool).  It saddens me. Basically my whole group from grade eight besides a few exceptions, party alot of the time, a few have left been kicked out of home, become addicted to cigarettes, become druggo's, done things they regret or left school. Some of these people don't have the brightest futures because of their choices and this is quite concerning and well daunting. I have never smoke, partyed, took drugs and I have had a little bit of light alchol with my parents but nothing to get my tipsy at all, I have had a sip of baileys, a sip of wine and lots of lemon lime bitters, I love lemon lime bitters but nothing serious. This year I've been invited to a few parties some quite big but others just with a few friends I didn't go because I prefer to do other things, Im not a real social person and I like being alone sometimes or just hanging out with my family, friends but I feel sometimes that Im missing out and I dont get to see my friends much because of this. Also music at these beach parties are really for me, even my friends have complete different musical tastes most of my friends are into top 40 music Kesha,Jason darulo whereas I love alternative rock and darkwave bands like The Cure, Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Smiths and a bit of Siouxsie and the banshees etc. So for future clubbing I guess I might as well check out some darkwave/goth clubs they seem to have great music but there aren't any where I live. Hmm it's just a shame that teenagers are expected to party and go out and get smashed and try drugs and give in to peer pressure, but it's good to know I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Also both the bananna and broccoli are awesome I like the broccoli the best as it reminds me of Robert Smith's hair broccoli

i don't party, probs cuz i'm not old enough haha. If i was i wouldn't anyway... So i'm here to talk happy
good for you i hope you never start to party.
I'm not a big drinker. But I will admit I smoke a little j every now and then. I hate partys, big crowds and the fact that when I do go to a party with friends I'm singled out cause I'm the only goth in a room full of mainstreamers.
no matter what - the odd ball aways gets singled out.if it were the other way around
( all gothe verses one mainstream ) they'd still single us out.we can't win.
(that wasn't a shot at goths it was a shot at peer pressure ).
Some of the most nicest people I have met are goths. The ones that look down on others Give goths a bad name.
yes , but i only ment in general - if the roles were reversed, not goths inparticular.
Not to worry! I get ya! wink
phew !  good ,it sounded worse than i ment it.

What exactly is this definition of 'party'? Does it imply that you go out with your friends to a venue or a house party? That is what I thought it was but then I saw someone say 'I hope you never party' lol so I'm thinking it means something to do with alcohol and/or drugs. Please clarify
MY defintion of partying is - drinking and doing drugs but not everyone has MY defintion of it- that is what i ment in my post -"'those who don't party ".

I partake in cider on occassion - but only really because I enjoy the taste, and you can't really have more than one of them, or the taste gets ruined!

I love that my friends aren't big partiers, we have dinner parties instead - we spend like six hours cooking a giant vegan feast and usually don't get eating till midnight! Now that is what I call a good night out (or in).
