Does anybody know how old you have to be to get your tongue pierced in SA ?
I think it is 16, with parents permission, but i am not sure, it may be 18 because of the area.

As far as I'm aware, the above is up to date. Despite the lack of laws around this, however, basically all reputable places that perform piercings will have their own rules around age. Most will not do piercings without parental permission under 16, and, if they're at all legitimate, they probably will refuse to do nipple and genital piercings for those under 18. Please do not go to a place that does not have these type of restrictions in place; chances are they won't really be terribly interested in upholding strict standards of safety.

Thanks tarkine - I'm all good at the moment where I live, so I am very fortunate as thousands of others have just been to hell and back so sad & really hard to imagine what some people are experiencing! I hate to imagine all the wildlife affected by this as well as the people. I think the next to days are meant to be the worst (in brisbane) so we shall see :S
lol & on a lighter note, u should definitely get the tattoo - it's great, especially if you get it where people can see it all the time like i did!!

hehe, will give the V tatt some thought... maybe I'm just being a wuss - anyhow, pretty sure I'll be vegan the rest of my life, beliefs on that front more permanent than any inky pic.
I got my bellybutton pierced when we went to the sunshine coast! The piercer was a bloke who looked a bit scary lol but he was really nice. It was $20 including jewelry so pretty good price! Stud is blueeeeee
