haha, I like the idea of splitting my tongue, it's something that noone would notice unless you told them or stuck your tongue out.
I really don't see the point
It doesn't have one apart from cosmetic, just like breast implants or nose jobs I guess. It's not for everyone, but if it makes you feel more comfortable in your own skin, why not?

My profiles on various websites actually come with a disclaimer now- from the amount of mail I recieve about "WHY THE HELL DO YOU DO THAT?" asides from asking "Why the hell not?" I usually hit them with this:

yeah, that's the cool part, training the two halves and being able to control them independently!
eek I just watched "playing with my tongue split" on youtube, I shouldn't have done that :-/ I think it's kinda gross (I know people who have them don't care what I think though - just my own feeling about it). Think I'll be keeping my tongue in one piece
then again I have no body modifications at all so I'm pretty conservative in that respect as it is
A guy who does it is coming down to Adelaide sometime next year to do some ^_^
