Body Modifications?

You guys have just opened up my world to a whole realm of new possibilities.  
So much research to do!  Now I'm never going to get employed :p.

Small breasts + sports bra = win!

I have to admit to being curious about this.  Apparently you can move the two ends independently!

I think it's different for different people.  Some mods in some cultures are done due to culture e.g. lip stretching or neck stretching in tribes I do not know the name of.  Some people do it to rebel, others to symbolise things that are important to them, others as a rite of passage (things that we seem to lack a little, I think), others to be in control of their bodies and yet others because they are changing their physical body to reflect how they see themselves.

I personally think that mods are attractive.  Ever since I was in my teens I've thought piercings and tattoos were attractive and wanted some for myself.  I can't really tell you why but tbh, as I get more tattoos (less so the piercings), I feel like I am more of who I am.

Sorry I can't explain it more than that.  And this is just my personal reason; like I said, it's different for everyone.

I also think that while some people might not like it, it is important to be accepting of differences .  Even by making a conscious decision about what clothes you are going to wear, or if you are going to cut your hair, you are changing your appearance.  Some people just do it in different ways .

Personally,I just like myself the way I was born,
I like looking at my face & seeing my parents features, grandparents, my brothers, my cousins etc, (whom I love ALOT) I would never want to change a thing because they gave it to me!
But I can understand that it's a personal thing, & I think its great that people stand proud to be 'different' by societies standards.

& I think mods can also help people become more a reflection of their inner self, for example people that are born female in the mind, but have a mans body etc, the outside is not a reflection of the inside by any count !

At the end of the day its only important that you like what you see

I at the moment only being 14 have stretched tunnels (I'm going to stretch them to 23 mL)
I'm going to get:
8 facial piercings (actually I'll probably end up with a heap more);
Labret Spiders, Medusa, Dimples, Bridge, Septum, Anti Eye Brow and Verticle Eyebrow, Tongue.

My tattoos consist of many:
A traditional dragon with the dates and names of my friends that died (top left sleeve), a daisy field (bottom left sleeve), a massive bird on my back, all different cartoon characters on my right arm, youngbloods across my chest, on my knuckles (right pinky to left pinky) Inky, Blinky, Pinky, Clyde, PacMan, Dot, Dot, Cherry, pin up zombies on my thighs, edward scissor hands on my right calf, david bowie on my left, and a tecktonic bird somewhere.

Scarifications:
"If We Burn You Burn With Us" on my back (ontop of the bird), a Jigsaw Piece on my hip.


It'll change I know, but that's what I want now.

I really really love your response! It's exactly right- I simply love people who are okay with themselves, but are also okay with other peoples visual desires :3
I think a man on a documentary about body modification sums it up pretty nicely "Some people are born to heavily modify their body + some aren't. It's no biggie if it's not your thing!" ^______^

And you know something, I actually use the female-born-in-a-males body argument with my ear pointing- it's something I've always jokingly referrred to as my "Species Re-Assignment Surgery" ^________^ I feel more whole, happy and complete now with my lovely pointy ears, than I did with my 'normal' ears. (that said; my normal ears were HUUUGE- they have to be seen to be believed! XD)

i don't save for holidays... I save for tattoos and then take holidays to let them heal.. hahahaha

Anyone here have their feet tattooed? I hate feet strangely enough but I love the way foot tattoos look, I'm thinking I might get some one day.

Lots of people I know have them done, I think they look really pretty

Ahh yes,
full neck and sleeves look so good, I'm not brave enough to do it though plus my grandma would kill me, haha.

I like that old school rose, I'm not usually the biggest fan of them!

I want to get a huge swallow on my neck, with his wings stretching out around the sides of my neck, it would be awesome!
