Anyone here have their feet tattooed? I hate feet strangely enough but I love the way foot tattoos look, I'm thinking I might get some one day.
I have a tattoo that covers most of my left foot . It's a skull and two roses, so pretty! The only bad thing was the swelling; made it really hard to walk around. It was a good excuse to just sit around watching TV for a few days :p.
My profiles on various websites actually come with a disclaimer now- from the amount of mail I recieve about "WHY THE HELL DO YOU DO THAT?" asides from asking "Why the hell not?" I usually hit them with this:
I was NOT put on this Earth to please you. My modifications are my lifestyle, and I shall choose to do whatever I want to my body. Granted you may not see them as aesthetically pleasing- but I don't want to hear it. I have transcended giving a flying f**k about what anyone has to say about my body- I will do what I want to it and nothing you can say with phase me or change that one bit.

There's no need to attackpeople with the curiousities of why you do these things, though. Nobody is telling you what to do, they just don't understand the motivation. I think asking someone why they get a modification is a pretty standard acceptable question. It goes against nature u know? So it's natural to be curious about it. I mean things like breast implants are clearly understandable...tongue splitting and horns? Not so much.
I am no closer to understanding lol.

if it was switched and lots of people had mods like that because that's how society worked, and fewer people had breast implants, you'd be saying the same thing..

Larger breasts can make women feel more attractive to themselves and to men (if they care about what men think!! and for the record no, that shouldn't matter imo). They can also help women fit into clothes better and boost their self esteem if they don't like being flat chested. If tongue splitting and horns served these same purposes I'd understand it...but as far as I know, they don't. If someone felt more attractive with their tongue split for whatever reason then that's fair enough. People have different tastes in what's attractive. But no one has said that...

hey it might even make people treat you like a real person in a nursing home, not just another 'old person', everyone would wonder the life you led with your elf ears... you could even trip the youngens out & say you were born an elf
