SOUNDWAVE!!!

Pretty much like everyone says, you're allowed to bring a small packed lunch and any UNOPENED drinks. If it's been opened the staff at the gates will confiscate it during bag check and throw it away. This is simply to prevent anyone from bringing alcohol or drugs into the venue.

As for food at the festival, there are plenty of stalls that offer vegetarian food and some stalls offer vegan, and you can always ask some of the non-vegie-specific stalls if they have a vegan alternative.

Soundwave tends to pull vegans to its festival more than most other music festivals (There was basically nothing I could eat at Big Day Out this year <_<.

I hope there is vegan food there, though I'm going to pack food still just in case

So excited now, I just hope it isn't heaps hot, or it doesn't rain >.>

not going this year,
been every year but this year i don't like the line up considering i only like like 5 of the bands and there different genres so it would be a waste, besides that means i get to see gaga and city and colour woo!

Looking at the timetable, I'm worried about when I'll actually have time to eat more than whether there is anything to eat.

Sydney show here I come!! I'm just going to eat before I go in and try and to find food in there if I get hungry.. which I prob will.. SOAD+In Flames+Kittie EPIC

So soundwave never replied to my email.
Come to think of it I can't really be bothered carrying a bag around all day, or waiting in line for them to check it anyway.
I'm just going to do as Jordan said and stuff a bunch of protein bars down my top haha, and hope that they will have something vegan available for me to buy there

Love this years line up, So much metal. But im not going, im going to Marilyn Manson's Sidewave (mainly to see Coal Chamber play)

Slipknot were crazy on stage, they probably put on the best performance of the day. Everyone went psycho when they started playing, I was towards the front which was a bad idea haha.

SOAD were awesome live too, they managed to play a lot of songs in the time they had which was good.
Marilyn was good, but not as good as what I have seen in videos of previous performances he has done, maybe cause he's older now? I dunno. He also seemed incredibly drunk/drugged and out of it haha. Some people started booing him off stage too, and chanting for Slipknot which I thought was fairly rude of them.

Oh and Slash was there with Alter Bridge haha! So good!
Also got to see Bam (from Jackass) with CKY

The only vegan food I found at Sydney was Subway, but there was barely any time to eat anyway lol.
