Slipknot were crazy on stage, they probably put on the best performance of the day. Everyone went psycho when they started playing, I was towards the front which was a bad idea haha.

SOAD were awesome live too, they managed to play a lot of songs in the time they had which was good.
Marilyn was good, but not as good as what I have seen in videos of previous performances he has done, maybe cause he's older now? I dunno. He also seemed incredibly drunk/drugged and out of it haha. Some people started booing him off stage too, and chanting for Slipknot which I thought was fairly rude of them.

Oh and Slash was there with Alter Bridge haha! So good!
Also got to see Bam (from Jackass) with CKY happy

The only vegan food I found at Sydney was Subway, but there was barely any time to eat anyway lol.
You were near the front when slipknot played? Ah that would have scared the crap out of me, with the moshers and all.

I heard System of a Down always puts on a very good show. And shame to hear about Manson, seeing him sidewave on wed, but im mainly there to see Coal Chamber play.

Did you see Coal Chamber there? if so, how did they go?

Yeah I was towards the front when Manson played and it wasn't that bad. As soon as Slipknot started playing everybody went nuts moshing, pushing and making death circles lol. I ended up moving back half way through because it was too crazy.

Manson just seemed heaps drugged and out of it...I hope he puts on a better performance for people who are paying to just go see his show.

I didn't see Coal Chamber, but my friend did and he said they were amazing - I don't think you'll be dissapointed there happy

So happy to have been right up the front for that moment. I was quite close to screaming like a teenage girl (but I was like that for their whole set).

I found Manson almost unbearable to watch though. I wandered off after a few songs because I just can't get into a show when the artist doesn't even seem to be into it.

Yeah he was definitely not with it...
He kept stopping heaps inbetween songs, and he went behind stage a few times for a while too...what was with that :/

I stayed because I didn't want to lose my spot towards the front for Slipknot/SOAD haha.

Devin Townsend FTW.

No Soundwave for me, went to the sideshow last night. $54 for a full 75min set of the only act I was interested in from the entire lineup sounded like a good deal to me!

That man is just amazing. He has more talent in his toenails than the rest of the Soundwave lineup put together! And he's veg!

I missed out on tickets to his sideshow. So disappointed. He is amazing, but I chose to see System of a Down's 90 minute set over Devin's 40 minute one at Soundwave. I'm going to have to catch him next time he's here.

I totally agree!! Slipknot was def a highlight!

Nah, MM has been slowly progressing down hill for a while now. I was up the back and I could not hear anything except mumbling. I went to his show a few years back and was disappointed, but he put in a lot more effort then compared to what I saw last Sunday.
I was getting annoyed at all the water he was wasting! And that poor hipster chick having to baby sit. If he is that unfit, maybe he should stop rolling about the stage and just sing and dance on the spot - ey?
