is all vodka vegan?

From what I understand most spirits are vegan - especially white spirits.

Check Barnivore (http://www.barnivore.com/) under 'Liquor' for specific brands - I don't drink Vodka, but I do drink Gin; so I have about seven brands that I am 100% sure are vegan that I know wherever I go I should be able to find at least one of those brands.

It's a handy thing to have a few brands of spirits and/or beer that you know are vegan - I generally don't like to get wine by the glass when out because I'm just not sure about it (and because the 'vegan status' can change from vintage to vintage) - if I can see the bottle being opened for a Brand (varietal and year) that I know is vegan, I will buy it.

The champers are sold at Dan Murphys? Do you remember roughly how much they are?

Yeah, I use the VNV list, but if I regularly drink something I will email the company to confirm, just in case they have changed the ingredients or brewing process.

I personally love Brown Brothers wines and have found most of them to be veg*n friendly. If anyone is interested, just email them for a complete vegetarian or vegan list.

I'm so disappointed Baileys isn't vegan! Who needs milk anyway! I used to lurve Baileys on Ice

I think some of the Brown Bros. ones are not too expensive - maybe $20 or $30?

Vegan "Baileys"
Ingredients:

1 can coconut milk
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs chocolate syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup whisky

Whisk it all together with a whisk - but not to froth.  Keep it in a bottle; if the coconut separates,  just gently shake the bottle up.

I recently found out my fav chard isn't vegan!

Has there been some new rulings that have come out lately where the label needs to say if milk is used in the process or something? As I am finding more labels stating this... which is a good thing for us!!
