Hey Melbournians !

Can anyone recommend some good vegan eateries please?
I'll be there in May for a week or so.

I have the 2011 Veg Food Guide but there are sooo many Vic listings.   Are there any good vegan Dim Sum places (like Bodhis In The Park in Sydney)…?

Thanks  thumb

Enlightened Cuisine in the city and Veggie Hut in Box Hill are both Asian restaurants that focus on mock meats
On smith st near the city there's Las Vegan bakery, Trippy Taco and a few other veg places too
You could also try Lentil as Anything, there's one in St Kilda, one in the Abbotsford Convent and another one somewhere else near the city I think

Lord Of The Fries, there throughout the city and in certain suburbs. There's a place in Lalor that sells vegetarian and vegan food (rice, noodles) etc and there's Lentil As Anything. happy

My omni brother is in Melbourne and I'd really like to take him to an upmarket restaurant that does v food (great ambience and decor, etc)
Any suggestions?
