I've heard about Las Vegan Bakery and Yong Green who do a lot of raw stuff which is great!

Soul Mama sounds like a must do, and also Shakahari.

Lord Of The Fries is close by, and I like a few others too.

Thanks again guys !

Thanks jack!

Other people have recommended Vegie Bar and Lentil As Anything, and an Italian takeaway called Vege2Go which isn't far from where I'm staying.

I'm going to plan my itinerary around places to eat lol !

Shakahari is great if you want something a little more fancy. It's in Carlton, so not tooo far of a hike from Elizabeth st (probably just a tram ride away?). It's a vegetarian restaurant, but the majority of the entrees, mains and desserts are vegan. They also have vegan wine! love

Oh, and I also second (third?)  Lord of the Fries, Las Vegan and Lentil As Anything. happy
Also also, check out Habib Wholefoods. It's on Flinders street, right near the corner of Flinders and Elizabeth (near Lord of the Fries). They do a variety of yummy vegan cakes and slices.

I second this... shakahari is pretty cool happy its a wee bit 'alternative' in its setting but the food is absolutely incredible!

Also you can never go wrong with Veggie Bar in Brunswick St, Fitzroy! Hellloooooo vegan chocolate mudcake
