top ten animal issues

I'm doing a magazine called 'Compassion Unleashed' for my english assignment (i think i may have mentioned it in another thread...) and anywho, i am going to put in the top ten animal issues (excluding factory farming and zoos because i already have feature articles on them). I was thinking animal testing as one of them,maybe dissecting or someting too? but there are so many i cant decide on the rest! please help if you can happy

The magazine also contains a reveiw on a vegan dinner, interveiw with a friend of mine from Fauna Rescue, photo shoot, poem, advice section and favorite products and companies dance

(input on that last one would be appreciated too). i'll try and upload it once it's done. It's sorta due on Thursday though, so i need any suggestions sooner rather than later. Thanks guys! beaverhug

Even though you are doing feature articles on factory farming and zoos, could you also put them in the list? I think that would be a good idea, just to draw attention to them .
Other issues you could do would be puppy mills and backyard breeders, hunting, dissection and vivisection, animal testing and you could also do things about native animals and deforestation - for example deforestation in the Amazon for cattle ranching.

What about Fur? He he i used fur in my oral assesment with my teacher.

Edit: GOD i made that sound wrong! Oral assesment for French and my teacher listened. Sigh still sounds wrong!

it really doesnt ROFL, we all do oral assignments wink

fur is a good one, but its not as a big of an issue now. at least not in mainstream stores.

What about companion animal desexing?

It's maybe not as 'sexy' or high profile as others, but if all pets were desexed it would make a huge difference on the number of abandoned animals. Just a thought.
