Why not donate your organs just to science?
That way a omni isn't getting your organs and you're saving animals from being killed and researched on.

I'm sorry if it sounds weird because they'll still be testing on organs- but its better than killing animals just for scientific value.

You ARE giving your organs to omni's ~ people / universities / doctors are animals too.

Body parts from cadavers won't stop animal testing.  Non-human animals are alive and provide a physical response to "tests".

Giving your organs to "science" doesn't necessarily mean you'll be saving another person's life.  The likelihood of donating your heart or your kidneys as an organ donor to keep someone else alive, is far greater.

Okay I know you're giving organs to them, but not in the context of this argument sorry for not being specific.

I know it wont stop animal testing but I know of studies that kill animals just to dissect hearts, ligaments, brain matter etc.

And you can donate specifically for science- you just have to let it be known to your family.

Very true! You can be much mores specific when it comes to donating to science. And what if you donated it to prevent cancer or some other disease or something like that. That would help save many lives!

There is no need to be completely rude on this forum, it's a valid suggestion and you don't need to laugh at her for making it.

Ok, so if I still ate meat, because I didn't know any better, I mean seriously, I only found out about factory farming thanks to watching a video because I thought Darren Cordeux was cute, and I needed an organ, some of you are saying that there is no way you would donate your organ to me and save my life because at the moment, I'm still eating animals.

That's a bit sick. Similar situation with families etc etc.
I'm proud to say I have the organ donor icon on my L's license. wink

The only reason why I wouldn't be an organ donor is... I have a fear of them giving my heart or other important organ to a well deserved person before I'm completly dead. tongue silly I know. laugh
