self righteous? Not eating animals  is right. No self about it. and just because you did something bad once doesnt excuse people doing it now.
Not everyone is educated or concerned about animal welfare.

It's self righteous that someone refuses to save a human life solely on the fact that they may eat meat.

Exactly. But that doesn't mean they deserve to die.

You're not addressing the topic, you are not telling me why I should support a person whose lifestyle will result in evil and suffering. Just because they are human? education has nothing to do with it, its the act of food being supplied to them whether they know it or not that came from suffering. If you're fine with the suffering ok, i'm not.

I would not give my organs to a paedophile if there was a chance he would one day stop raping children, its now I'm worried about.
And neither would I (if I knew they were once a pedophile or rapist). But a pedophile and a meat eater are two VERY different things.

Well they are different, but they're both causing pain to others.

Actually, if you read through this thread again, you'll find numerous reasons given by numerous people as to why you shouldn't not donate your organs on the chance it will be given to save someone who eats meat. Just because someone thinks they should save a meat eater doesn't mean they're fine with suffering, either.

not to the animals its not. I consider the suffering of animals the same as humans. I believe they should have the same rights to safety and free from harm as humans. I think there is no difference between hurting a person or hurting an animal. put yourself in the animals shoes and tell me there is a VERY big difference

Logically speaking, if you're not okay with suffering, then why are you okay with a human suffering?
