I almost thought you were for real then haha, your missing out, theres some pretty good places to eat in Melb
I hoped you thought I was for real even just for a second. I love that moment of anxiety when you think someone's insulted you and then the moment of relief that follows when you realise you got joshed!

& I know, I know, (about the Melb noms)! I have a fear of flying or I'd visit more often sad
Haha yeah you got me, flying isnt that bad, maybe you should try to get over your fear by flying and coming out for awesome food =p
I have an overactive imagination - entertaining most of the time, but not when you're over 30,000 feet in the air in a coke can. I do fly when I have to, and Melb noms & cool vegans is certainly great incentive to grow some balls.
I like the way you put that haha. You know what they say, you have more chance of having a car crash on the way to the airport than having a plane crash

Yeah I know, but seriously dude, imagine the fall from 30,000 feet - it would be a whole lot more drawn out than a car crash... :-/

Yeah its the worst, everyday I see cattle/sheep trucks drive past my house and everyones idea of fun here is going out shooting/fishing. It makes me angry alot but I put it to good use!
Seeing the trucks on a daily basis would definately fuel my anger to higher levels also.
Putting the anger to use is good stuff =p

Yes I did a thread on this last night but there wasn't much interest. But good ol' Jack said there's going to be food stalls and stuff after the rally so we can stay if we want. We'll find something to do!

That is a very good point, I had a car crash the other month and they happen so fast.
But I also want to go skydiving soon from 14,000 feet haha.
Id consider flying to be pretty safe overall though, especially on domestic flights!

I don't know if this well help but air travel is the safest for of transport. So yeah your more likely to die in daily transport like walking and driving than on a plane. happy

Edit: Wow i should read the whole lot of posts before, so i don't repeat what others have said!

I know, someone has to make up that percentage that die in plane crashes.

Sorry to hear about your car crash!
