Well I admit that Howard did have to make some reforms, I don't want us to be like America. I wouldn't leave my house with out a gun over their. Anyway.
Have you been? I've never once felt unsafe, I'm against violence and wouldn't even have it in me to physically defend myself. My husband is a process server (giving people papers to say they're being sued) and about 50% of the people he delivers to are complete white-trash and legally allowed to shoot him on sight... Know how many times he's been shot at? None. Ever.
I'm planning to move there and raise children without any safety fears at all.
You have to have a license to carry a concealed weapon, most people (in Wyoming anyway) are really good about it.
I know all the CCW permits, I've never been to the US but the stats are enough to frighten me, to many murders.
How many of those murders are shootings?

Yeah, I don't think you can really make judgments about a country without having experienced it first hand. I can't imagine the bizarre assumptions other countries make about us, doesn't mean they're true.
Facts are facts. Plus I have talked to many Americans who also would not leave their house with out a gun

I work in security, all of our road crew are armed, as well as some internal staff. I work with guns everyday, most of the boys own weapons.
I don't have a problem with people owning weapons, providing they can meet the license requirements.
Most of the boys just enjoy going out to the range and firing off a few rounds. Some of them hunt wild pigs though. As much as they're considered a "pest" I don't agree, but I'm not in a position to stop them.

doesn't make any difference to me if I am being threatend with a knife, baseball bat or a SKS, I still want a gun to fight back with.

THere were 31,224 firearm-related deaths in 2007 , not sure how many were murders, but I'm going to assume enough

I can't see how wild pigs arn't pests, but that not what this topic is about.

I think she means that she doesn't agree with them being killed.

She states clearly that she doesn't agree with "considered a pest"

I don't know any that feel like that cannot leave the house without a gun.
I know two Americans that do carry weapons. Two. Out of the 100 or so friends I've made.
One of the guys that I met who was armed said that when he was carrying a weapon he would purposely avoid places like bars etc where situations might escalate to the point where he might feel the need to defend himself, he had a reall great outlook about it and it put me at ease. That guy? Now a cop.
The other one? Security guard.

I don't know where your friends are, or what kind of people they associate with, but I've got friends all over CA, WY, OH, GA, TX, NY, RI, IL...
None of them are worried either...

A quick question, A native specie is in peril, namely because of another introduced species, yet a lot of people on this site think that they shouldn't be shot because it is our fault they got here in the first place. And said introduced animals shouldn't suffer because of our mistakes.

Should the native animals suffer because of our mistakes and inaction?l
