Hi All,
I would like to take the opportunity to thank every single one of you for your interest and help in finding a home for these gorgeous puppies. The great news is, this campaign to save these puppies lives went viral, and as a result we have found good homes for every single puppy! I can’t believe the feedback from all of you, whether it be that you have simply forwarded on the email or wishing me well on my plight to make sure that the only danger that comes to these little darlings is death by cuddles . For that, I am so grateful.
This outcome is beyond belief, and to think, in these situations, farmers often euthanatize mixed breed puppies (which is a nice way of saying that they drown them at birth) as they believe that only pure breeds are useful as working dogs. How wonderful that Chanelle, Crystal, Lavender and Lenna all have loving new parents and a happy long life to look forward to.
What I have learned from this, is that people genuinely want to help where they can.
But this is no isolated incident. There are little puppies around our city which were Christmas presents that now nobody wants, or little accidents that appear with nowhere to go. While you have been so supportive as a response to the urgent deadline where Chanelle, Crystal, Lavender and Lenna were to be put down, please be reminded that there are organisations and agencies that do the same thing.
Do some research. Support puppy pounds that have a no kill policies.
After all, they’re simply little children looking for someone to love.
Thanks again, you’re all wonderful.
Regards,
Amelia
PS Can you please forward this email to the people you’ve told about the situation? I’m getting inundated with emails and calls at work!
