they treat everyone like dirt. Really horrible place.
But then they deal with allot of scum too
Lots of people scam the system, it's sad.

And Sebastian, I was on youth allowance when I was in school too as my mum was widowed. It wasn't to be lazy, it was because we couldn't afford to live and pay my school fees etc without it.

I had a part time job, and that doesn't even begin to cover it.

wait, you expect to get paid buy the government while you are in school? Heard of a partime job?

It's typical for a bunch of vegans to be lazy, your all the same lefty, tree hugging, hippies
I have youth allowance because my mother is a single parent. That makes me a lazy tree hugging hippy, does it?
Why don't you get a part time job. I think many other deserve it more than you

Edit: I'm also doing this because of people accusing me that im a red neck, just like all hunters
If that's the case, why didn't you start a new thread to discuss it? This thread has nothing to do with animals.

By the way, I know hunters who are on centrelink benefits too.

You get a different amount depending on what your parents earn. Centrelink used to give me about $190 a fortnight.

I was made redundant last year and got no payout from my work, not even my leave.

I signed up for centrelink and they made it really difficult and treated me like crap. They were incredibly confused that I'd changed my name 15 years ago and I went through so many phone calls over that!

They signed me up to this job search place who wanted me to come to appointments ever second day! I was going to 2-5 job interviews a day and had to keep wasting my time calling and cancelling the job search appointments!

Well, because I have a mortgage and dont pay rent, I was given $211 a fortnight  scared My mortgage is $600 a fortnight! How are you meant to live on that even if  you didnt have a mortgage?! confused

Luckily I was only out of work for just under 3 weeks.

On top of that, the job search place kept calling me once a week wanting me to do surveys etc, during work hours, for 6 months. Apparently it's in their contract with centrelink to do this for 6 months. That has to help your work when your starting a new job!
All over $211!!

Get a job you hippie
By the way, it's not always easy to get a job.
I have an excellent work history, references and experience.
I knew my previous job wasnt going well and was looking for something for over a year! I was just lucky to get something right at the time it came to the brink.
But as I said, I was putting ALL my time into it. I was going for up to 5 interviews a day and you cant do that when your already studying or working, even if you know your not going to be later.

Oh, my brother had an accident last year and couldnt work for 4-6 months. His job was casual so he had no sick leave.
He went to centrelink and was told he couldnt get anything because he lives with my parents. He's 18, has a car loan, and medically could not work. So apparently my parents were supposed to pay his car loan plus living expenses. Which they ended up having to I think  rolleyes
His work ended up letting him come back early and finding modified duties for him which was good of them.

Sebastian, you've been such an agreeable community member of late, but now it just sounds like you're trying to stir things up.

There are hundreds of comments posted to this forum every day. We don't have time to read all of them. So if someone has made comments that you find offensive or you think break the house rules please report it so that we can sort it out. That would be a much better way to resolve the situation than retaliating.

Thanks peace

Look this is a joke, every 'offensive' comment I have made get taken down, but when someone else says 'all hunters are red necks' it goes over looked.

WHAT A JOKE!
