Once I buy some agar agar I will definitely be trying this. Hopefully it will save me money and the inconvenience of having to buy vegan cheese online.

Do you have any idea how long this will keep in the fridge before it goes off?

Probably 3-4 days I'd assume. It would freeze okay if you cut it into a serving size and then froze it, I'm thinking about grating it up and throwing it in a zip lock bag in the freezer - that way I can just grab what I need, when I need it.

Okay thanks.
Yeah freezing it sounds like a good idea, because I don't think I could use that much cheese in only 3-4 days.

Okay, I made this late last night. I didn't want to wait until Tuesday to buy silken tofu, so I used firm instead.
I added more water to the mix because the firm tofu was too... firm.  tongue
I did everything else as the recipe stated. It was very easy to make.
happy ...

AND IT'S AWESOME!  ecstatic
I ate some with marmite on bread this morning and I'm going to try it on pizza tonight. I'm going to buy more ingredients on Tuesday and make a huge batch of it to freeze.
Cheese has been a big problem for me. I can't buy vegan cheese at the shops here. They just don't sell it, and I can't afford to buy it online with the postage costs. But now my problem is solved!
Thank you so very much!
Me --->  dance

btw, I even dreamed about the cheese last night. lol I'm serious.  laugh
