The description says "The real reason blokes go pig hunting" yeah, they are more stupid than cavemen.
If you really think any of us are going to waste our time watching this you are going to be disappointed.

' The real story behind why blokes go pig hunting'

Two words: Testosterone. Insecurity.

Why would you post this?

I think that that serves as a handy excuse to go and kill pigs. You don't get THAT much enjoyment from restoring the environment.

I'm not exactly sure how they can sit there and say 'there is no cruelness and they die straight away' when the pig that got killed in the video was screaming when getting it's flesh bitten into by dogs until the couple of blokes ran down there and plunged a knife into it. It's fairly easy to say that when you are sitting around sinking suds with a few mates, especially with a camera hanging around.

'Pest' or not that is no way to die if there is an alternative. Other than that, I thought it was fairly weird - I mean, to sentence a species to death because they like to dig and eat? Because that's essentially what I got out of it, but then again maybe I'm just not seeing it from the right perspective. Lets be honest, Shooter, this is all about money, not the land or the environment. They just happen to be the means to the end. I figured that out as soon as they started putting a value on the land.

'Eating and digging' destroys the natural environment. Much more than just for land. Have you seen the way the pigs dig up ground and destroyed the natural environment?

Shooting a few pigs here and there is not going to make much of an impact on the pig population. It is just plain cruel sad
A long term humane solution is needed which will bring the population down over time. Though I don't personally think anyone should be worrying about the pigs impact on the environment at this point in time when the human impact is much much worse.

Humans are in no position to lay crap on other species for destroying natural environment.  Humans wrote the book on it (fact that no other species is capable of writing, producing and distributing books notwithstanding). It's just more selective hyprocrisy.

Now, addressing the issue of the actual kill - do you agree with the man's assessment of their death?

Further, what are your thoughts on the video? I can imagine you had some idea what people on an animal rights forum would think of it, you must have been keen to share your own opinions.

Oh, and yes I have seen the way pigs dig up the ground - that informative video just showed me  wink   Unless that doesn't count, in which case no I haven't. Merely offering up my thoughts as requested!
