$25 for one kilo of Notzarella. ...Yikes.
Very expensive, but once they've organised postage, I'll probably order a pack.
I really want to know what it's like.

I'm sure the price will come down once they re-gain the cost of initially making and developing the cheese.
And that is still heaps cheaper than cheezly! Cheezly is like $7 for 200g.

better than cream cheese for on bread, toast, english muffins etc, toffuti slices for nachos, cheezely/teese for toasted sandwiches and nutritional yeast (cook up the recepie on the back) for on pizzas before u put in the oven and for making vegan mac and cheese happy

I didn't think to compare the price to other vegan cheeses (because I don't buy them).

Okay, I take it back. $25 for one kilo of vegan cheese is actually a very good price!
peace

Notzarella - as far as vegan cheese goes, pretty darned good. Melts well, tastes good, makes a killer pizza and all for a very reasonable price compared to other vegan cheeses. Looking forward to trying the other flavours next...

Looking forward to trying some!

Just reading thru previous posts and it's interesting the difference in what people prefer for certain meals....

I've recently been buying Sheese Mozarella and love it on pizza, but prefer Cheezly on nachos. And I find Tofutti slices are good on pizza and burgers. Just my two cents wink

How is it in comparison to dairy cheese? I've gotten my mum to give up milk, eggs, meat, gelatine, cochineal etc. but she won't give up cheese. (I'm weaning myself off it, then my diet will be vegan) I'm hoping that once this can be delivered to Perth that we'll be able to get dairy out of the house completely.

Daiya is the business. My friend brought me some back from the US. It's all kinds of amazing, it even stretches like real cheese when melted.  I'm getting some more soon when my bro gets back from LA.  I told him to pack his case full of it.
