Hey guys,
Do you know how to tell if the dairy your eating/drinking is ethical?
Like not from bad dairy farms?
Are there certain brands or something?
PLEASE HELP!!

They're all bad.
Milk is for baby cows, not people.

No dairy is "cruelty free" cos taking milk from a babies mouth is cruel, especially sending the baby off to be killed so you can take it's milk. Sorry to sound so harsh, but yeah. So I can;t tell you any cruelty free dairy brands, cos millions of calves die so humans can have their milk.

The only cruelty free milk I know of is soy milk. (And oat, rice, hemp, almond etc.)

The only cruelty free dairy is dairy free. wink

I am an oat lover too. Soy is good for chai latte's but oat is nice, sweet and not too strong!

No dairy is cruelty free. Though there may be some farms that are less cruel than others.
I know of a hare krishna farm that does not artificially inseminate their cows and lets them live out their lives at the farm. They also keep all their calves. Though they don't have a high production rate and do not produce dairy all year round.

If you are concerned about animal welfare then going dairy free is definitely the best option. Once you find substitutes for milk and cheese that you like the taste of it really isn't that hard. happy
