No, I think we are supposed to live in small family groups, and keep our own little veggie garden, or even just live how the aboriginals used to live, but, still, plants (not trees) are meant for eating, and then our bodies will  be used for the plants soil. Unfortunately nowadays, people are buried in coffins.

I'm pretty interested in a fruitarian diet! happy
I don't know about you, but sometimes I do get upset when a plant is chopped (not that I'm saying plants feel pain or anything) especially trees >< (I think I'm just in love with nature too much xD ~ weirdo)
So I at least want to try it for a while and see how I feel xD
Its just that is what plants are really for. I am NOT trying to spike up an argument ok? Just saying my opinion…

PLants ->  impala  ->   lion   -> plants

Circle of live

Vegan:

plants  ->  us   ->  plants  ect
I know happy I have nothing wrong with eating plants... after all what else will we eat?
I'm just saying sometimes I don't like seeing plants getting killed, but that's just me.

I find when fruitarian goes to the point where you don't eat fruit fallen from the tree a bit silly.... plants make fruit bright and colourful aswell as tasty, so animals will eat them and spread the seeds. If it's ripe then the plant wants you to eat it.

Vegatbles on the other hand are different, the plant has vegtables as storage deposits or whatever of nutrients.

Well lol this is what i know from the biology i do at school tongue

Are you interested in consuming only fruits that have already fallen from the tree/plant or from plants who's fruit falls.. If that makes sense?

I don't think it would be unhealthy. You could just move the vegetable/fruit setup into your backyard so you know where things are coming from. happy
Plants whose fruit falls. Anything that can be harvested without killing the parent plant.
But hard to be a true fruitarian eating only things that have already fallen when you don't gave your own orchard etc.

I have this weird attachment to plants, especially grains/grasses.
I'm not sure where it had come from but it's been really bad the last few weeks.
I was hoping there were a few on here already, so I could get some advice about the emotional side of things, I'm just having trouble dealing with it, doesn't matter how many times I hear that plants don't have feelings.

A life is a life.
How are honey bees any higher or lower on scale of worth than carrots?

You choose where to draw your own lines.

Right, fruit.
Not vegetables, I have trouble justifying killing the plant.

Probably all the adds with sexy ladies wafting through grass fields.. it happens.. right?

haha but no, I think the idea of fruititarians is to continue that non ending of a life form by consumption. But reading it as 'non-harming' of all living things, can just get... out of hand.. and sometimes counterproductive.. yourself.. being a living thing.

But I guess..you're seeking for a premade answer. when seeking your own is more so ideal.

I mean.. in the case of not ending a life, you have to research it (for each edible thing)? and I don't know how grain fits in. And when you get to the end of it all being just and fine, isn't it just a comforting of inner uncertainties?

Might as well... do it your way happy

Sorry I am not much use; promise there is much to be found if you keep seeking along these lines in terms of clarity, but only ... clarity ... along these lines/context, which you seem to grasp with your own qualms.

But yeah, I don't know the philosophy of a fruitarians... I left school to write, so avoid reading.. novels.. poems.. lyrics... peoples work.. but found myself reading dictionaries and such like novels. sooooooOooo, my understanding of the word is probably just from a wiki.. bahah.
