Hi Everyone

I have noticed lately a lot of respected unleashed members from the beginning leaving lately and I have to say I am close to doing the same

As one of the first members of this forum it is sad to see it become less and less about animal welfare and rights everyday .

It began about activism, young people getting active and a peer support group, we had arguments, fun times and disagreements but our passion for animals always overruled

I am sad to see I think I am the last active member from this group of people , many have said the reason is the childish comments and threads being started.

Feel free to post what you want , when you want but please try and make it relevant to unleashed . as it annoys the hell out of the rest of us . No that doesnt include homework help, swearing or weddings.

Lets get back onto topic people

Have a nice night

bye ashamed2 cry confused

Especially for activism guys, some campaigns and protests can be publicised very last minute as animal welfare has to be addressed in the heat of the moment. Its really hard to see what street campaigns are going on when its hidden by topics not so relevant.

Remember what this is about guys, the internet is a great source for getting the word out and getting others involved. Lets get back to using it for that.

The people, like Jack and I, who have several thousand posts. But then again you won't see most of this group anymore as they no longer come on.

I have been coming here for well over 2yrs I think now?? But sadly it HAS gone down hill. As Jack said it doesn't seem to be about the animals anymore.

I know this is a place for the youth, and immature topics are sure to rear their ugly heads.... But seriously every topic, every day? No everything doesn,t have to be about animals - we can talk about human rights, the evironment, even ask questions about uni courses to better help you do what you want in life. But we're not here to help with homework, boyfriends/girlfriends, or constant family troubles. Yes we are a support group - but some topics would be better had in private.

I'm proud to say I've been here since the early days - the days where maybe one thread was started a day - but gosh those were some in depth debates/discussions/conversations. I'm sad to say I now come here monthly and maybe read 4 or 5 threads.

Isn't it a good thing though, that the site is seeing more people interested in animal welfare and that the membership has gone up? Perhaps one of the problems is that there are no longer any of the experienced members to give some kind of direction in conversation. If everyone leaves, then the site is going to get worse not better.
We've already left because of what it has become. It's been hapening for some time.

Also, no one respects what us older more experienced people have to say - so why bother?

Its brilliant that the forum is growing, thats not what I am complaining about, or why the others left
the others left because of people asking about homework, asking the same question 50 times

making threads because their friend said something mean to them
When someone complains about their mum , or something someone on here says.

It gets annoying, and some members on here are uncapable of having a sensible, logical conversation on animal rights
