Nirvana were the epitome of grunge in the 90s
I somewhat disagree, Nirvana was just cool cos kurt cobain died.. I think if their wasn't so much attention on that, people wouldve realised that there was SOO much more talent than just Nirvana.. They actually arnt talented, at all haha.. Their music is terrible, and so dull and boring

Well when I was a kid I loved Nirvana's music without even knowing he was dead at that time. I still do love it and I think Kurt was extremely talented. Sure there's other grunge bands who were good quality but none as successful as Nirvana, and none that I personally appreciated as much. I grew up with them and have never stopped listening to them.
It's not necessary to bag out bands that people post. It might make you feel good, but it doesn't add anything to the point of the thread.

I wasn't bagging it out. At all! I have many nirvana albums, but I just think saying that they were the best band of the 90's is a massive over exaduration. None were as successful cos Kurt blew his bloody brains out, everyone gets publicity when they die, it's just how it goes.. The spotlight was on nirvana, as i said.. So other bands got ignored some what. I wasn't being disrespectful, I was just saying there's many many many many many bands just as good, or better from the 90's.. Even though the 90's wasnt the greatest years for grunge, or rock

On that topic, how AWESOME were the 90s for music??? Even the one-hit-wonders were top quality.

It isn't, actually. 'Epitome of grunge in the 90s' does not mean 'greatest band of the 90s'.

I think the foo fights was the #1 band of the nineties. I think if kurt cobain didn't die, they wouldve been the epitome of 90's rock. I agree completely that there's no more rock, but i think rock from the 70's is a shitload better than the nineties.. Every single year that goes by, music gets worse..
