Far out, you can be a bit sympathetic to these people. Your a cold hearted bunch here.
We're not all cold hearted... so please don't assume that. Sometimes it's hard to feel sorry for people in a such a bloody business (no one should profit from suffering) especially when they're working against everything we're working for.
However, I understand your point to.
Have a look at the previous post. Don't tell me they aren't cold hearted
I've seen their posts, and they're merely stating they're not sympathetic towards the farmers, who, seeing the video evidence, profit from the inhumane treatment of their cattle via live export. I don't think there's much you can do to change their minds, after all this is an animal rights website.
I'm not saying that being happy about another human beings losses and suffering is a good thing either.

Then don't tell them to get a 'real job' when what they are doing is a 'real job'. They work harder than most other aussies.

why should we feel sorry for cattle farmers? they brutally send cattle over to these countrys and they threaten to kill there own animals if they cant sell them, its not looking good for the cattle. Im here to help the cattle not the people that  brutally slaughter them!

They call them self animal lovers, well thats insulting to people who actually love animals.

I don't see why we should feel sorry for people that have little compassion toward fellow Earthlings. It seems those people are the cold hearted bunch.
I'm sure they work hard, but they obviously disconnect themselves from the animals they raise.

I hope in the near future there will be far more Earth friendly jobs in Australia (and worldwide).

The farmers knew what was going on, they just chose to turn a blind eye because they would lose money.  How can I feel sorry for someone who send their cattle to a place like that???

And other workers lose their jobs and business's too, Not just farmers, They also have families to feed.

And yes this is an ANIMAL RIGHTS FORUM!!

Do you expect any of us to agree with you shooter???  Seriously.

While I was volunteering at a ban live exports stall for animals Australia, I met 3 farmers who signed the petition, One of them said that she doesn't feel sorry for the farmers who send cattle over to Indonesia because most of them knew what was happening, I also met a farmer from New Zealand who had stopped exporting cattle, She told me that at the start they struggle a bit but now they are fine.

I wont feel sorry for them and never will. Why wont the MLA help them out, Don't they have 50 million to help the farmers in time of need??

The farmers are encouraged to go to the abbatoirs to make sure the conditions are good for their cattle!! Of course they know whats going on...If they dont, i have no respect at all for them. They dont care what happens to the cattle once they leave. How many people (exluding all of us, of course) would if they are getting 1.5m for one shipment?!

I do feel sorry for the farmers. They are loosing everything they have known, and I think I would rather be working with animals than with humans. But, they shouldn't have been contributing to that kind of cruelty in the first place. If they hadn't, this wouldn't have happened to them.

And too, apparently the ban will be better for Australia once everything gets sorted out.

But its really a choice between thousands of cattle dying painful deaths, or thousands of families loosing their homes.

yes true true

but people will have money from selling their homes and i obviously couldnt explain their pain from losing those homes and farms but they can rebuild.......

as for the cattle .... well thyre dead. they dont get a second chance.

the ban should have been implemented a looooong time ago. YEARS ago . when we saw how hundreds of sheep were being treated during the voyages and overseas.

the government are robots. they have sticks up their donkeys and need to learn to embrace issues like this!..............they only do when people kick up about it. only then to try and let it fade away.

i think some of us here would make great politicians. wed be cool lols. and actually change the world.

my parents get soooo scared when i fantasies about me doing that..... theyre like nooooo. you and ur animals ! .... 'its those people on those forums getting into ur head'
'oh. aaaash! come on'
mum *evil eyes * at  me .................... etc etc
