All kinds of things can go wrong in farming, and any job. Remember mad cow a few years ago??

If they are in an industry like farming, Where so much can go wrong, they should be more prepared, I'm sure they have insurance, money put away or something to cover them when things go wrong.

They knew what was happening to their cattle so they deserve it!!
I just can't feel sorry for them, I don't care about their sob stories, and it not just because I'm a Vegan and care about animals.  Heaps of Non Vegans also care, Even 3 FARMERS i met..

It is a shame that they have lost their livelihood, but they knew what they were getting themselves into. It is the trade of innocent lives for money. It is the sickest form of pay I could possibly imagine. It takes a certain type of person to kill repetitively day in day out. I can only hope they learn from their redundancy and see that times are changing.
