I know what you mean about the oreos, I look all over the place to find Vegan junk food and then when i discover it and love it I wish I never went looking.. LOL
I discovered the Lush '' tim tams '' a few weeks ago, Some how that whole packet vanished over night.... or they must have been half empty when I bought them... HAHA
yay for the perfect results!
My doctor decided i should get one too after being vegan for 2 years, and i by no means eat a healthy diet (it quite unhealthy actually) and i was in the normal range for everything, quite high in iron apparently. my b12 was in the normal range but the lower end of it.. just goes to show you dont necessarily have to eat heaps of different foods to get what you need i guess?
Great news! I really should get a blood test to see if all my vitamin levels and everything are okay. Though I feel really good since being on a vegan diet, so hopefully they are
Out of curiosity do you take any vitamin tablets or anything like that?
I only take B12 & Flaxseed Oil caps.... as I don't consume enough products fortified with B12 and I don't like the taste of Flaxseed Oil.
I just try and eat healthy, Some day I am bad, VERY bad... Haha. Like a whole box of oreos and a whole box of BBQ shapes in one day...
What's the go with shapes and oreo's? I read somewhere that BBQ shapes aren't actually vegan, and with the oreo's doesnt't it depend on where they are made, how can I tell if they are the right ones?

I am not sure about the Shapes...
But original oreos are definitely vegan in Australia and they don't contain palm oil.
Just stay clear from the mini oreos, and the strawberry ones with pink centres.
So if you're buying them from woolies or coles you'll be fine

The original oreos that are made here are safe because they don't contain palm oil,
The BBQ shapes have worcestershire sauce in them but it doesn't contain anchovies like some sauces do.
Oh man, I've just been googleing some of the ingredients E635 isn't vegan.
