That was hard for me to watch.
The older I'm getting, the more sensitive I'm becoming.
Okay... I don't believe there's such a thing as humane slaughter, or a good death - but if people are going to continue to eat animals, that kind of treatment is the best.
If I was lined up for slaughter, I would want it to be a quick and smooth death, just like that.
Despite his job, that man seems like a caring person. You can see it in his eyes. It's a shame he feels that people need to eat meat.
Problem is, omnivores watching will think "oh, the animals are treated with some respect, so that makes it okay".
But it's never okay to take a life. And I'm sure most slaughterhouses are not that smooth.
