And it is the parents choice whether their children have them or not. Its not mandatory because as parents, they have the right to choose what is done to their child. Its not like we're saying "just dont wanna get it done, cant be bothered" .. Its not an uneducated suggestion, or opinion- we think hard about these things.. And your screaming about evidence as to why they're not always good, but yet your also saying that they arnt always good? Evidence is my sister being sick.. And the above persons son being sick.. I just dont know what else your looking for? Some website that says it? Cos you gave a link to one website - and then you stated that just cos it can be googled doesnt mean it's right?? I dont understand what point your trying to make, because all the points your saying arnt valid- because your putting us down for making the same points in our argument. It is individual opinions. My dog hasnt had his booster shots, because he got sick from the original ones.. And i love my dog more than anyone could even imagine- i protect him from illness as much as i possibly can.. Id die for him.. But im not going to put him through pain again, and getting sick to prevent some disease he MAY get, and even if he did have the shots he may STILL get.. My nonna and nonno lived their whole lives naturally.. No medication, no vaccines, no hearing aids even when my nonno couldnt hear.. my nonno passed away a year ago today of lung cancer from asbestos poisoning, and he wouldnt have done it any other way. So much medication, so much un natural things going into our bodies.. Im sure theres some risk to doing that..
I think everyone has a dffrent experiance with vaccinations, i have never had a reaction and dont know any1 who has, all my animals are up-to-date with there vaccinations and ive never had anything bad happen to them, Multiple times diffent vaccinations have saved some of my animals that ive rescued. for example : When bambii - a fresian X dairy calf arrived home from the sale she was anemic, weak, coulndt stand and went in and out of conscience - she had 2 shots ( i cant remeber what they were) but if she didnt have those she would of died.

every1 has there own opintions.
with all due respect... if you didnt know what the vaccines were, or remember.. how can you say it saved her life? what did it do to save her life? and was it solely because of the vaccine that she lived? cos it doesnt sound like you even know what it was :S
People can die from having vaccines, and people can die from not having them. You just need to weigh up which is the safer option, and imo that is having the vaccinations.
You just need to look at the amount of people (especially young children and the elderly) that became sick and often died yearly from these diseases before the vaccinations were introduced.
The rate of many diseases in Australia have been significantly reduced, and some diseases such as polio, have even been eradicated because of Australia's high level of vaccine administration. In other countries where vaccination rates are lower, these diseases still thrive.
Of course other factors such as improved hygiene, nutrition etc. have also helped in reducing and eradicating many diseases, but there is no doubt that vaccinations have also played a major part.
Of course people can have a bad reaction to vaccines, just like people can have adverse reactions to medication and countless of other things.
Vaccinations are not compulsory and you are entitled to make the decision as to whether to have them or not, but personally I have always had my dogs vaccinated, and if I had a child I would do the same.
It is a very worthy topic to investigate. The ingredients in vaccines really bother me- like fetal cells from cows and humans (that is fact) but especially mercury.
In history, when humans suffered from mercury poisoning, their symptoms were just like that of autism. Mercury is in vaccines (like the MMR) and so while this is not evidence to prove that vaccines CAUSE autism, there is a lot of heresay that implies this, and what evidence do we have that vaccines do not cause autism?
and there is another factor:
One of my lecturers at uni pointed out (for Psychology) that it's unlikely for anything that defames vaccines to be published in medical journals (since Wakefield) because it legitimizes the entire medical profession. All those doctors that advocate immunisation (whether or not they earn money from it), most of them likely believe it is in the best interests of the child.
It's a touchy subject, but in my opinion it's definitely worth trying as much as possible to learn about.
