I am so happy to see Kevin Rudd taking part in a new Tea is taking part in helping our animals.

1. Twinings Tea does not use animal products or employ animal testing
2.10c of every pack sold goes to the RSPCA

Rudd you have put a big smile on my face. And why isnt he prime minister?

That's awesome! I new they didn't test on animals and they're the yummiest so I always buy them but I didn't know 10c of every pack went to the RSPCA! Wow. Go Twinings!

I thought Lipton stopped testing on animals some time last year? (Despite being owned by Unilever.)

I'm glad Kevin Rudd won, I doubt many other celebs had animal related charities. I'll definitely be trying some of his tea when it comes out.

They did promise to stop testing on animals however as you mentioned their parent company is Unilever, so it's still not kind to buy it as you're giving them your money!

Wow, I'd never heard of tea companies testing on animals before, so I looked it up and found this article: http://recipes.howstuffworks.com/lipton-really-testing-on-animals.htm
Just when I think I've heard it all about what companies do to animals angry

Not one of the other celebrities had animal-related charities, in fact I'm almost certain the others were all or mostly disease-related, ie animal research.

Because he gets lots of benefits this way without having to deal with people.

Can go about doing stuff... then Repping it.. like "yo check what I did and I didn't even have to say I was doing it"...

so he is hardly going to break any promises this way LOL he just does political stunts and walks around collecting lots of keeish.

What tea is made with animal products?

*curious
