Hi, recently had some blood tests to check everything was ok, and as i expected my vitamin d was a little bit below recommended and he told me to take Ostelin daily, i had a look on their website to see if the tablets are vegan friendly but all i can find is "free from: gluten, sugar, starch, lactose, yeast and artificial flavours." I know most vitamin d comes from fish and eggs etc so im guessing there will be some sort of animal product in Ostelin. If anyone can confirm this that would be great, otherwise I will have to email the company.

Also apparently i have high iron saturation levels, is this a good or bad thing?????

Thanks guys happy

It contains vitamin D3 which is extracted from sheeps wool. So unfortunately it's not vegan.

The only vitamin D3 that I know of that is vegan suitable is Vitashine http://www.vitashine-d3.com/

You should be able to buy it from most vegan stores:

Yeah the sun is the best. But some people have trouble absorbing enough vitamin D3 from the sun, so they need to take supplements happy
