genetically modified/brutalized chicken pumped full of drugs.. WOW .. so much better

universities exist obviously just for mega rich people to avoid getting taxed so much

I can't see what other purpose they serve...

instead of being left over with all this skeletal system that is waste matter

why not just invest in that lab meat we've heard about?
the organic meat grown in a pee-tree dish wink

oh, fertilizer industry would suffer... most of the chicken industry probably isn't even about edibles... well if it is, just some ground concoctions  -- or tainted produce; grown that earth

my input is labratory tasty meats with fabricated marinade in the same process...
haha

OR pre- cooked chickens.. just modify them to live in volcanoes and come out when they're ready

take away their ability to express pain

the reason this title is so perverted,
because 'future' is synonymous with
Optimism, Promise and Purity

and history writes the crisis betwixt - between
utopia - dystopia

Why is it peoples solutions to problems is to just add and add and add ways of trying to make it "better" rather than stripping down the issue and realising its about stopping behaviours, not adding to them. It's so sad that society is coming to this! I hope it never happens.

yeah anything to do with science is ''smart and intellectual'' thus must be a GREAT idea.

when I read "student blah has draw up a plan where chickens can be harvested with less moral obligation to people"

What I pictured lol was like in school "make a new invention!!"

mine was a vacuum cleaner that was a flame thrower..

saying this... I'd be a little concerned seeing china start churning them out.

student: "ok so... chickens having brains... seems to be inhibiting their growth..
all of these hormones are making them sad... I KNOW... EUREKA!!!!  just remove their brains."

student: "teacher... if we remove the chickens brains.. we can make happier healthier chickens!!"

teacher: ............  .......  "TO THE NEWS PAPERS!!! rep rep rep"

architecture student should stick to building brainless...
heartless structures.. and keep away from organic design...

though... there were a few very influential minds
and still now that believe the future will be
lived inside organic structures...

by carbon copy of design or just shape..

like living in a nautilus

Jesus Casper, just because the situation is not ideal, does not mean a step in the right direction should be condemned. Are you really so naive to think that the world would all of a sudden stop eating meat? Of course they won't; people will eat meat whether you or I like it. The fact that the existence of these unfortunate chickens can be made somewhat less distressing is something to be appreciated.

1.

what is the step in the right direction you're referring to that is being condemned.

2.

a.where am I stating the world to stop eating meat?
b. was it where I spoke of living in nautilus shells, because I think your ability to read what you want to is exception if thus

3.

why are the chickens lives unfortunate; would this have anything to do with people seeing them in a way where they don't deserve their own body... now not even a brain (or don't you see chickens 'misfortune' as human or solvable, just.. guilt ridden). would you be better off with no brain?
would you exist? although I mean... people who suffer work spend all their money and spare time on killing most of their brain anyway, so maybe i'm asking the wrong culture

4.

how am I exhibiting lack of experience with multifaceted response indicative of experience...
or do you just not know the definition of naivety merely the cliched way it is utilized as a rhetorical tort?

Preemptive(s):

> should I apologize for using my brain

> does chickens having brains offend you at the moment

> did you know KFC can only be referred to by its' abbreviated commercial form these days, because the Caged specimens used can no longer be referred to Chickens as they can no longer walk... thus: : what will we call them when they are missing their brains.

After thought ----

Turkeys have been known to live on, one in GWRecords lived for several years with a severe head... it had no head... it was fed through syringe through its' neck after being adopted by its' killers as a novelty.

We don't understand birds enough to remove their brains and assume pain or any other feeling sorry I mean.. misfortune... is alleviated... by further misfortunes of being involved with human (tests: I mean.. trial and error, mostly error.. but quite a trial for the nature of things) taste... interest or.. so called life.

This reminds me of the book Oryx and Crake. There was a section where they had created a kind of "chicken plant" (no brain just grew the meat), this whole thing just seems sick and twisted to me.
