i think there are probably more animal lovers on twitter and facebook than there are farmers. hopefully this is a war we shall win!

I dont get it. Are they supporting Indonesian slaughter houses?
Aussie Cattle are probably the least abused of animals (bar live export)
Most animal rights people target eggs, dairy and pigs.
I dont see why they feel so persecuted.

A case of protecting their interests and competing with broadcasting dialogue to the community. I think the MLA initiative is a trial of sorts. If it's 'successful', other industries may try to emulate the initiative.
